Xiaoqing Ding graduated from Dept. of Electronic Engineering Tsinghua University with won the Gold Award in 1962.Since then she still teaching in Tsinghua Univ. She is a Principal Professor and PhD supervisor. She has long time researched on Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and computer Vision and gotten more superior achievements in Character and Image Recognition. She has owned more Honors and three times of National Scientific and Technical Progress Awards, and won the Awards of Best Overall Performing Face Verification Algorithm in the Face Authentication Test FAT2004 on ICPR2004. She has published more than 300 papers and is the co-author of four books. She served as program committee members for more international conference and Editor for international Journal. She is a fellow of the IAPR.
