Zhou Shidong, received his Ph.D and master degree from Tsinghua Univ. and Southeast Univ. in 1998 and 1994, respectively. He is now working as a professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University. From 1999 to 2002, he was encharged of several national 863 projects on WCDMA system implementation. From 2002, he worked as the leader of the research team on B3G in Tsinghua University, and completed several projects in FuTURE project, especially on downlink transmission research and implementation. His current research area focuses on physical transmission techniques, including MIMO, OFDM, coding and modulation, multiple access,adaptive transmission, etc.
