Jani Tierala is a Business Development Manager at Nokia Research Center, responsible for the commercialization of a number of technologies in multiple areas of research. He is also responsible for technology out-licensing at Nokia Research Center.
    He studied strategy & international business, new venture development and software engineering at Helsinki University of Technology (HUT), and received his M.Sc. degree in industrial management in 2005. Prior to joining Nokia in 2005 he headed the content licensing and services business at a mobile video technology and services company.
