Prof. Bo Xu has been working with CASIA after he received the Bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University in 1988. From 1988 he joined the speech recognition research and received the Master's and Doctor's Degree in the field in 1992 and 1997 respectively. Now he is the steering committe member of national high-tech programme in information technology domain, deputy president of Chinese Information Processing Society of China and President associate of CASIA. His current interests include speech recognition, machine translation, media content management and social computing.
